ten Hoor Hall houses classrooms and faculty offices for American studies, anthropology, history, philosophy, and political science in the College of Arts & Sciences. The building is also home to the Institute for Social Science Research.

The building was completed in 1963 and named for professor Marten ten Hoor, dean emeritus of the College of Arts & Sciences.
