B. B. Comer Hall is home to the Department of Modern Languages and Classics, including the Language Resource Center, within the College of Arts & Sciences.
The building also houses Capstone International, which includes the English Language Institute, International Programs, International Services, and the International Center for Students.
B. B. Comer Hall is named for Braxton Bragg Comer, who was Alabama's governor from 1907 to 1911 and later a U.S. Senator. The building was originally designed for the use by the School of Engineering.
