Byrd Hall houses approximately 100 students in double rooms with community baths. The rooms include movable furniture, a sink and mirror, and wall closets. Byrd has a community kitchen and laundry facilities.
Byrd was the long time home of the Mallet Assembly. In 1981 a fire started in Byrd Hall's attic, but the building was saved and given a new roof. In 2007, Mallet was relocated to Palmer Hall.
